The Book Buzz is an online children’s book library (for ages 0 to 6), delivering books right to your doorstep. Our collection includes top national as well as international children’s books, as well as titles that are not easily available in India or are very expensive to purchase. We also have a collection of classic children’s authors and series.
Our founders – Rajvi, Kinjal and Alisha, all passionate readers themselves, personally and carefully curate The Book Buzz collection, staying updated with the latest in the world of children’s books. Our collection includes national and international bestsellers as well as classic favorite titles from over the years.
As a home-delivery reading library we aim to make the reading experience hassle-free, affordable and enjoyable for both parent and child. All you need to do is become a The Book Buzz member, select your books from our online catalogue and wait for the books to be delivered to your doorstep.
The Book Buzz members have access to a wide range of collection of books so you can choose from among children’s favorite series/authors/titles across various categories and genres. Also while children love to read, buying original books can be expensive, not to mention create storage difficulties for parents. With The Book Buzz you can bid all these hassles goodbye and enjoy privileges such as:
The website has a comprehensive ‘search’ feature available at the top of most pages. You can type in whatever type of book you are looking for, for e.g. fussy eaters/ toilet training. You can also make use of our categories & refine search options for a simpler and intuitive search.
A wish-list is a list where you can maintain books that you like and would like to order in the future. You can add a book to the wish-list by selecting the heart icon on any book.
Once you select one/ multiple books our ‘add to cart’ feature will keep your selection in a single checkout list. This allows you to place an order for your books with one single click.
This list contains books that may not be available or out of circulation for that particular week. Members can book it by adding it to the Book List so as to receive it as soon as it is available. Members can also add books which they prefer for the coming weeks and can maintain their list too. These books can then be sent if the cart has not been updated from the member’s end. You can add books to this list by selecting the book icon on any book.
Our monthly trial plan is available exclusively on an invite basis at present. An existing member can send you an invite email with a referral code. You can enter the code while subscribing or you may also directly follow the link on the email in order to activate the monthly trial plan.
You can refer TheBookBuzz.in to your friends via the refer-a-friend section on the home page. Once your friend receives an email notification of your referral and subscribes to The Book Buzz as a member, you will receive a 2 week extension (i.e. 2 books per week for 2 weeks) on your existing plan.
To become a member, Register with us, Visit our ‘My Plans’ page and Select a plan suitable to you and your child’s needs. The Book Buzz charges a onetime registration fee of Rs. 500 and a refundable deposit of Rs. 1000. Once you have made the payment, you can begin browsing and selecting your books.
We offer weekly and fortnightly subscription plans with a choice of a 3 month, 6 month or 12 month duration for each plan. For more details refer to out ‘My Plans’ Page.
While our weekly plan allows you to borrow 2 books per week, the fortnightly plan allows upto 3 books every 15 days. We also have a plan formulated specially for siblings which allows you to borrow upto 4 books per week. You can select a plan suited to you & your child’s needs.
You cannot hold two accounts with the same email id and mobile number. However, if you need to, you can subscribe by using an alternate email Id.
You can view them in your cart history in the ‘My Account’ section.
You will receive an email on registering, mentioning which day of the week you will be receiving your books. You will receive your books on that particular day in the week, every week/fortnight.
Click on the ‘forgot password?' link, enter your Email ID and your password will be emailed to you.

Once subscribed for a membership, you cannot cancel the membership.
We do not give a refund of the membership fees. However you will receive the refundable deposit of Rs. 1000, after deducting the charges for loss and damage of books, if any.
Of course you can – all you need to do is mail us at support@thebookbuzz.in and we will get your account going again.
We currently deliver to South and Central Mumbai. However we do plan to expand on demand, so feel free to contact us & give us your details if you are residing within Mumbai.
We offer doorstep delivery only to the addresses registered with us.
You will receive your books on a fixed day of the coming week. The deliveries will be allotted as per your pin code, the details of which will be shown into your account.

No. We provide members with a free pickup/ drop-off service.
You will be notified about your book delivery. In case of your unavailability, you can call up our customer care and reschedule the delivery.
The number of books – 2, 3 or 4 - depends on the plan you opt for.
You have to return all of the earlier books in order to get the next set of books.
No, we don’t recommend that. However if you are unavailable for pick up you can contact us and reschedule it.
Your pickup will be scheduled as per your subscription plan. Incase if you want to request a pickup at a specific time you can call our customer care and we will try to schedule it as per your request.

We try to give you the books as per your priority, but if the same is in circulation then you get the next available book.
Yes, the book will be delivered on the scheduled date. If you are not at home, our delivery person will call you.
You can choose to pause your account if on vacation but you have to return the books before going on your vacation. We allow you the option of pausing the account for the following durations:
1 week in the Quarterly Plan
2 weeks in the Half Yearly Plan
4 weeks in the Annual Plan.
You can Pause your account by clicking on the Pause button on the ‘My Account’ page.
Your Suggestions are very valuable to us. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, you can write to us about the book on the Recommend Book section. We will try our best to add that book to the book buzz library.
You can contact us if u wish to sell/donate your old books to the library. Our service team will get in touch with you.
Our books are not for sale , they are only for rental purposes.
We provide a free pick up and drop service at your doorstep. The books to be returned will be exchanged at your doorstep when you receive the new books for the week, via the same delivery person. He will not give the books until you have returned the previous ones.
No, there's no need. Since our pick-ups are already scheduled, our system tracks the progress of the books till we receive them.
Once you have received your books, you can add your next set of books to cart anytime until the day prior to the next delivery. You can also add your preferred books to the Booklist at any time so that we can send those books if you don’t order any books
In the case that you haven’t received your delivery, we request you to verify your address details on our website. Sign In, and check My Account, and review your delivery address to ensure that the information is correct. If you have verified your shipping address, you could report this problem by contacting our Customer Care.
Please allow sufficient time for the books to reach you. If sufficient time has elapsed and you are sure you haven't received it, please send an email to support@thebookbuzz.in or call our Customer Care at 9820595254

If you lose or damage a book, we will charge you the MRP of the book. If the book is not available in India, we will then convert the US $ into rupees and charge you for it. You can also replace the book with the same book (with same ISBN no.) if you don’t want to pay the penalty.
You can keep the books with you only as per your subscription plans. Please return the books at the end of the week/fortnight as we may have other bookings for it.
You can either use Credit card, Debit card, net banking or cash on delivery to pay for your membership.
Yes you can opt for Cash on Delivery option while placing an order. The cash will be collected from your residence when the delivery person delivers the first batch of books.
